So I just popped down to my local CO-OP supermarket for some tomatoes & foil.
Always stop & look at the reduced priced food with that days use by date (Yellow Sticker) for easy & quick use meals in the coming day or 2 or to freeze it.
This food still has a shelf life & we know it because of preservatives or forward planning meals.
This reduced food is available to the public that are struggling or their staff, why not grab a discount!
Their policy has been that after 8pm, if the reduced food for THAT DAYS DATE, hasn’t sold, then the food already reduced by 50% original cost is further reduced to 10 pence!
This was fantastic for struggling people & staff on minimum wage, as it will still have the shelf life explained!
New policy that a staff member told me tonight, if it doesn’t sell at 50% reduction, throw it in the bin!
Corporations fear litigation from some injury you say, didn’t bother them before by offering super reduced food!
