A centenary of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) existence is no cause for celebration, U.S. lawmakers said, but rather, a time to remember the millions of victims murdered and brutalized by the regime.

On July 1, the CCP held a large-scale event in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square marking its 100th birthday, including military jet flybys, cannon salutes, and a 3,000-strong chorus singing socialist songs.

“Today, Beijing celebrates 100 years of the Chinese Communist Party while the Chinese people and the rest of the world mourn its contributions to society—millions killed by its atrocities, slave labor, genocide, religious persecution, organ harvesting, and a global pandemic,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) wrote on Twitter.

Since its founding in 1921 and then coming to power in 1949, the Party has launched wave after wave of mass atrocities causing tens of millions of unnatural deaths and the destruction of traditional Chinese culture and values.

To this day, the communist regime persecutes millions of religious believers, ethnic minorities, and dissidents, aided by advanced technology to surveil and control its citizens. Those ensnared by the Party’s repression have suffered detention, torture, forced labour, surveillance, and even forced organ harvesting.

In the Xinjiang region, Beijing has deployed a sweeping clampdown against Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities, detaining more than 1 million in a network of internment camps. The campaign has been designated a genocide by the U.S. government and other Western countries’ parliaments.

Meanwhile, Falun Gong practitioners, Tibetan Buddhists, and house Christians are targeted across China in what U.S. officials have described as the regime’s “war against faith.”

In Hong Kong, the CCP is rapidly tightening its control over the once-vibrant democracy, with the help of a draconian national security law imposed on the city last year. Since then, the territory’s pro-democracy forces have been crippled amid mass arrests of figures critical of the regime and the recent forced closure of a prominent pro-democracy newspaper.

“The CCP’s motto is and has always been the muzzled and dead don’t revolt, and they’ve taken it to heart,” Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) said in a statement. “They have brought down the iron hammer on freedom seekers, religious and ethnic minorities, political dissidents, and everyday citizens through outright murder, ‘re-education’ torture camps, ‘disappearances’ and forced sterilization.”

Citing the CCP’s abuses, Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Ala.) described its centenary as “a dark milestone in history.”

Other lawmakers demanded justice for the regime’s victims.

“We must hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable,” Rep. Michelle Steel (R-Calif) said in a tweet.

Last week, a bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced a resolution that lists and condemns the Party’s severe abuses since its founding. Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), the bill’s lead sponsor, said the resolution aimed to “lay the CCP’s true nature bare for all the world to see.”

“The point here is to illustrate that the abuses we’re seeing from the Party today, including the genocide in Xinjiang, is not a new phenomenon,” Gallagher said at a press conference on June 29. “Human rights abuses are hardwired into the Chinese Communist Party’s very DNA.”

The Trump Organization’s longtime chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, pleaded not guilty to tax fraud charges on Thursday—coming hours after the company criticized Manhattan prosecutors for what they claim is a politically partisan criminal investigation designed to politically wound former President Donald Trump.

According to a criminal indictment unsealed on Thursday, Weisselberg was also charged with grand larceny, conspiracy, and falsifying business records. Weisselberg entered a not guilty plea in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Attorneys for the Trump Organization and the Trump Payroll Corp. appeared in the court and entered a plea on behalf of the firms. Prosecutors claimed that the firms and Weisselberg carried out a 15-year-long tax fraud scheme to pay him and other executives.

“The beneficiaries of the scheme received substantial portions of their income through indirect and disguised means, with compensation that was unreported or misreported by the Trump Corporation and Trump Payroll Corp,” the indictment read.

Prosecutor Carey Dunne said in court that the alleged scheme was “orchestrated by the most senior executives” at the firm and got “secret pay raises at the expense of state and federal taxpayers.”

The charges come after a nearly three-year-long investigation carried out by Democrat Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance’s office. New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office in May announced they would be pursuing a separate criminal case against the Trump Organization, a company that deals in luxury real estate and is managed by former President Donald Trump and his family members.

Both Trump and the Trump Organization characterized Vance’s probe and the indictments as part of a politically motivated witch hunt.

“Radical Left New York City and State Prosecutors, who have let murderers, rapists, drug dealers, and all other forms of crime skyrocket to record levels, and who have just announced that they will be releasing hundreds of people involved in violent crime back onto the streets without retribution of any kind, are rude, nasty, and totally biased in the way they are treating lawyers, representatives, and some of the wonderful long-term employees and people within the Trump Organization,” Trump said in a lengthy statement earlier this week.

The Trump Organization, in a statement on Thursday, said the probe “is not justice; this is politics.”

An attorney for Trump, Ronald Fischetti, told Politico on June 28 that the former president won’t face charges in Vance’s probe—at least for the foreseeable future.

“They just said, ‘When this indictment comes down, [Trump] won’t be charged. Our investigation is ongoing,’” Fischetti said. But Fischetti told the New York Post later that he’s not sure whether Trump is “out of the woods yet completely.”

The Trump Organization hasn’t responded to a request for comment.

Facebook users have recently reported being sent warning messages from the social media giant relating to “extremists” or “extremist content” in recent days.

“Are you concerned that someone you know is becoming an extremist?” one of the purported messages read. “We care about preventing extremism on Facebook. Others in your situation have received confidential support,” it adds before offering the button to “Get Support,” which ostensibly leads to another Facebook page about extremism.

Redstate editor Kira Davis, who said was sent a screenshot of the message from a friend, wrote: “Hey has anyone had this message pop up on their FB? My friend (who is not an ideologue but hosts lots of competing chatter) got this message twice. He’s very disturbed.”

And others reported getting a warning that they may have been “exposed to harmful extremist content recently,” without elaborating. The message then alleges that “violent groups try to manipulate your anger and disappointment,” similarly offering a “Get Support” option.

“Facebook randomly sent me this notice about extremism when I clicked over to the app. Pretty weird… The Get Support button just goes to a short article asking people not to be hateful,” wrote another user on Twitter in a July 1 post.

A Facebook spokesperson confirmed to CNN on Thursday that the social media giant is currently running the warnings as a test.

“This test is part of our larger work to assess ways to provide resources and support to people on Facebook who may have engaged with or were exposed to extremist content, or may know someone who is at risk,” the spokesperson said.

Epoch Times reporters who accessed Facebook were not able to reproduce the warning messages or access the “Get Support” page.

The messages come after Democrat lawmakers have repeatedly targeted and pressured CEOs of Big Tech firms like Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Microsoft, essentially accusing them of allowing “extremism,” misinformation, and cyberbullying. Simultaneously, they’ve faced criticism from Republicans who accuse the company of censoring conservative voices.

Conservatives, including former President Donald Trump—who has been banned from the social media platform for two years—have argued for the revocation of Section 230 of the federal Communications Decency Act, which serves as a liability shield for online publishers.

But these warning messages are sure to trigger even more negative feedback against Facebook and its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, over fears that the company is attempting to stifle free speech. On Twitter, as screenshots of the warning messages were being shared en masse on Thursday, many users expressed concern over the direction Facebook is taking.

The Epoch Times has contacted Facebook for comment about the messages.

In a 2013 court case Pathology v Myriad Genetics, inc, in the US, the Supreme Court ruled that human DNA could not be patented because it was "a product of nature".

However, at the end of the decision, the Supreme Court ruled that if a human genome is modified by mRNA vaccines (which are currently in use), then the genome can be patented.

This means that everyone who has received the vaccine is now technically "patented" and something that is patented is "proprietary" and will be included in the definition of "transhumans".

People who are legally identified as 'transhuman' do not have access to human rights or rights granted by the state.

This is because they are not classified as 100% biological or human.

Queensland's Chief Health Officer says she does not regret advising people aged under 40 to refrain from getting the AstraZeneca jab as the debate on whether young Aussies should access the vaccine intensifies.

Medical advice from vaccine advisory body ATAGI has not changed, with AstraZeneca only recommended for Australians aged over 60.

But the Federal Government has given the green light for people under 40 to access the vaccine upon consultation with their GP, a move that has sparked uproar among some state premiers and chief health officers.

Dr Jeanette Young yesterday did not hold back from making her point of view clear about the AstraZeneca eligibility expansion, saying: "I do not want under-40s to get AstraZeneca."

"I don't want an 18-year-old in Queensland dying from a clotting illness who, if they got COVID, probably wouldn't die," she said.

"We've had very few deaths due to COVID-19 in Australia in people under the age of 50. Wouldn't it be terrible that our first 18-year-old in Queensland who dies related to this pandemic died because of the vaccine?"

The chief health officer today said she did not regret her comments as they were "the truth".

"There is a risk that you can die from one of those rare, and they are rare, blood clots and the younger you are, the more likely it is that it will happen," she said.

"The risk significantly decreases over the age of 60. But the younger you are, the higher the risk."

For people under 60, the risk of getting a rare but treatable blood clot is 1 in 35,000 after the first dose and 1 in 1.5 million after the second dose.

More than two million Australians have had the AstraZeneca jab. So far, just two people have died from clotting.

Statistically, aspirin is more than 200 times more dangerous than AstraZeneca – resulting in 15 deaths per 100,000.

Dr Young has come under fire for saying under-40s should not get the AstraZeneca jab, instead of following the Federal Government's stance to "go talk to your GP".

"I am giving my advice. I am a doctor," she said.

"I am on the record as supporting vaccination. But I want the right vaccine to go to the right person."

Queensland Health Minister Yvette D'Ath said anyone under 40 wanting to get the AstraZeneca vaccine from a Commonwealth hub should get a consultation, similar to getting advice from a GP.

"We want to make sure that anyone going to those Commonwealth sites are going to have the opportunity to talk to a medical physician and be able to have that conversation around informed consent as well," she said.

Australia is facing a "very serious crisis" amid backlash from the vaccine expansion, strategic health policy consultant Professor Bill Bowtell said.

Professor Bowtell, former adviser to Paul Keating, told Today communication on the vaccine rollout had "broken down" since the accessibility expansion of AstraZeneca.

"I don't know what's been going on between the National Cabinet and the ATAGI and the chief health officers' committees - but clearly something has gone wrong," he said.

"We are facing a very serious crisis. We've got to get a grip.

"There's got to be some order restored to the chaos that's enveloping the technical and medical advice side of this."

The Commander of Defence COVID-19 taskforce, Lieutenant General John Frewen, said allowing Australians under 40 to get the AstraZeneca jab was about giving people the right to choose.

"The ATAGI advice has remained unchanged. The medical advice has remained unchanged," he told Today.

A new study on masks and children has been conducted by researchers in Germany and Poland. It was just published in JAMA Pediatrics, the premiere peer-reviewed pediatric medical journal in the world. It confirms that masking children wasn’t just unnecessary. It was legitimately dangerous.
