There has been a recent trend in people buying e-scooters in the UK, especially in the big Cities, LFB Fire investigators have raised this as a concern since last year. Transport for London have recently banned them being carried by people on the London Underground after one caught fire on a train. So far in 2022 LFB have attended 25 property fires where e-scooter batteries were the cause ir overheated causing the occupants to call LFB.

This video is pre-arrival of LFB at a house in East London this week. What appear to be a series of mini backdraughts is the battery flaring causing an over pressure. Good learning for all, this video is being shared widely on UK groups.
