Switzerland has amended its moratorium on GMO crops, while Ethiopia says it is growing new genetically edited varieties of wheat and maize.
Even the EU has called for a “rethink” on GMOs, while the Times of Israel asks:
“Can gene editing help farmers satisfy the rising demand for food?”
Scotland’s Press & Journal, meanwhile, has demanded that the “Scottish Government lift its GM ban to ease cost of living crisis”.
I could go on, but you get the idea.
None of it is really about the food crisis.
It is about Climate Change, and the globalists’ obsession with driving humanity into a world of animal free agriculture and lab-made foods.
Apparently, allowing billionaire profiteers like Bill Gates to force bugs and genetically altered food on the world, will “end climate change” and “save the planet”.
That’s why researchers are now churning out report after report saying “Genetic engineering can have a positive effect on the climate”.
And NGOs like “Alliance for Science” proclaiming “GMOs are the key to shrinking Europe’s climate footprint”.
It’s not just crops either. These people want to gene-edit livestock as well.
In March, the FDA gave the go ahead for gene-edited cattle to be used for food.
As Deutsche Welles put it: “genetically altered “Climate sheep” and “Eco pigs” can help fight global warming too.
Where is it all coming from? I think you know.
It is all brought to you courtesy of the World Economic Forum and the Rockefeller Foundation, whose policy document “Resetting the Table” is the blueprint.

CANNING FOODS AT HOME
Canning is an important, safe method of food preservation if practiced properly. The canning process involves placing foods in jars and heating them to a temperature that destroys microorganisms that could be a health hazard or cause the food to spoil. Canning also inactivates enzymes that could cause the food to spoil. Air is driven from the jar during heating, and as it cools, a vacuum seal is formed. The vacuum seal prevents air from getting back into the product bringing with it microorganisms to recontaminate the food.
To safely home can foods and prevent food-borne illness, research-based canning methods must be followed. Botulism is the most commonly associated food-borne illness with home canned foods. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that there were 210 outbreaks of botulism from 1996 to 2014, of which 145 were linked to home-canned foods. Food-borne illnesses related to the consumption of home canned foods are often linked to the person canning the foods not following research-based canning instructions, not using pressure canners for low-acid foods, and ignoring signs of spoilage or lack of knowledge about botulism in home canned foods.
Clostridium botulinum bacteria are the main reason why pressure canning is absolutely necessary for canning low-acid food. The bacterial cells are killed at boiling temperatures, but they can form spores that survive these temperatures. The spores grow well in low-acid foods, in the absence of air, such as in canned vegetables and meats. When the spores begin to grow, they produce the deadly botulinum toxin.
These spores can be destroyed by canning the food at a temperature of 240 °F, or above, for the correct length of time. This temperature is above the boiling point of water (212 °F) so it can only be reached in a pressure canner.
Safe Canning Methods
There are three safe ways of canning, depending on the type of food being canned. These are the boiling water bath method, the atmospheric steam canner method, and the pressure canner method.
Boiling Water Bath Method: The boiling water bath method is safe for fruits, tomatoes and pickles as well as jams, jellies and other preserves. In this method, jars of food are heated by being completely covered with boiling water (212 °F at sea level).
High-acid foods (pH of 4.6 or less) contain enough acid that the Clostridium botulinum spores can’t grow and produce their deadly toxin. High-acid foods include fruits and properly pickled vegetables. These foods can be safely canned at boiling temperatures in a boiling water bath. Tomatoes and figs have pH values close to 4.6. To can these in a boiling water bath, acid in the form of lemon juice or citric acid must be added.
Atmospheric Steam Canning Method: The steam canner must be used with naturally acidic or properly acidified foods that have a pH less than or equal to 4.6. This includes most fruits, preserves, and pickled vegetables. The steam canner is NOT for low-acid foods such as vegetables and meats.
In the past there was not enough research about atmospheric steam canners (i.e. steam canners) to recommend them to produce safe home canned foods. However, in 2015, Dr. Barbara Ingham with the University of Wisconsin in collaboration with the National Center for Home Food Preservation published a peer-reviewed research study on the use of steam canners. The results of the study provided critical information, and practices that must be followed for the production of safe foods canned in a steam canner in place of a boiling water bath canner. In steam canners, the prepared jars are set in a rack above a reservoir of water. The steam created from boiling the water provides the thermal treatment to the jars. There are several advantages to using a steam canner. A steam canner uses less water than a boiling water bath canner, reaches processing temperatures quicker, and requires less energy.
