تكوين الماضي البسيط في المبني للمعلوم ..
1- Affirmative Statement ( الجملة المثبته )

❤ S + V2 + com

🌺 A famous writer wrote this a year ago.


2- Negative statement ( جملة منفية)

❤ S + didn't + مصدر الفعل

🌺 I didn't enjoy last night's flim.

3- Question ( سؤال )

❤ Did + S + مصدر الفعل

🌺 Where did you go for your ladt holiday?

🛑 يمكن استخدم ( could + inf / would + inf ) للتعبير على الماضي البسيط.

🌺 Akram could speak France at the age of seven.

🌺 I couldn't swim because my arm was hurting me.


🛑 The passive voice ( تكوين الماضي البسيط في المبني للمجهول )

١- Affirmative Statement جملة مثبته
S + was / were + p.p
🌺 This book was written by a famous writer.

٢- Negative statement جملة منفية
S+ was / were + not + p.p

🌺 My novel was not changed six times.

٣- was / were + فاعل + p.p
🌺 Was the meeting held last Thursday?

الكلمات الدالة على زمن الماضي البسيط ..

Yesterday / the other day / مدة +ago / once = once upon a time ذات مرة / one day ذات يوم / last ( night / week / month / year / winter / spring / summer) / the previous ( week/ month) / from + سنه في ماضي to + سنه في ماضي / in + سنه في ماضي ( in 2005) / in + شهر في ماضي ( in July) / then / Just now / in the past / in the ancient times / in the meddle ages في العصور الوسطى / in the old days في العصور القديمة / how long ago = when متى / at the ago of ( اذا كانت بعدها فترة في ماضي ) / at the weekend ( اذا كانت في ماضي ) / when I was young / when she was little / when he was seven.


🛑 ظروف التكرار التالية مع زمن الماضي البسيط اذا جاء معها ما يدل على الماضي

usually / always / sometimes / often / never / occasionally / every day / every week .

🌺 When I was in Aden. I went to the beach every day.

🌺 I usually visited the zoon when was young.


🛑 Usage

( الحالات التي يستخدم فيها زمن الماضي البسيط)

١- حدث بدأ وانتهي في مدة معينه في ماضي.
🌺 I had my hair cut yesterday.
🌺 Ali moved into a new flat last week.

٢- احداث متتالية وقت في ماضي.

🌺 He heard them taking. He decided he had to get closer. Then he approached. They were surprised finally. he caught them.

٣- للتعبير عن حدث جاء بعد حدث أخرى في ماضي ..
يعني ( الحدث الثاني في أي حدثين متتابعين في ماضي دائما يكون في الماضي البسيط)

🌺 As soon as they had prepared the scenario, the started work.

🌺 When they had returned home, the knew the whole story.

ملاحظات هامة..

🛑 The + adjectives = a group of people.
اذا جاءت the قبل الصفة فهي تعني مجموعة من الناس لهم نفس الصفة و تأتي بعدها فعل بصيغة الجمع.
🌺 The dissbled = disabled people

🌺 The poor = poor people
🌺 The old = old people
🌺 The rich = rich people


🛑 graduate

🌺 graduate from
يتخرج من ( جامعه أو كلية)
🌺 a graduate of
خريج ( جامعه أو كلية)
🌺 graduate with a degree in
يتخرج بشهادة في ( التخصيص)


🛑 لاحظ الكلمات التالية اذا جاء بعدها أسم وقبلها عدد
Second / minute / hour / day / week / month / year .

🌺 I usually have a ten-minute break for coffee a midday

🌺 Uor company had five- hour meetings.

🛑 في حالة وجود كلمة ( time ) بعد الكلمات السابقة☝ نستخدم ( s' ) في حالة المفرد و ( 's ) في حالة الجمع .

🌺 Presidential elections are due to be held in a week's time.
🌺 The champioship matchs will be in two weeks' time.

( يختار / يحدد )

( قرر أن)
🌺 decide that + ( subject + verb +.......)
( يقرر أن)

🛑 be born in / into / on

🌺 ( be ) born in + ( تاريخ / مكان )
ولد في( تاريخ / مكان )

🌺 ( be ) born into + ( عائلة)
ولد في (عائلة...)


🌺 ( be ) born on + يوم
ولد في ( يوم)

🛑 argue for / with / against / about / that .

🌺 argue for
( ينأضل من أجل / يؤيد)
🌺 argue with
( يجادل مع شخص )
🌺 argue against
( ينأضل ضد / يعارض )
🌺 argue about
( يجادل بشأن / بخصوص )
🌺 argue that + فعل + فاعل ..
( يجادل أن )

🧠 Past habits العادات في ماضي

❤ used to + مصدر
( أعتاد على شىء فى ماضي ولم يعد يفعله الان)
🌺 I used to drive very slowly. I drive faster now.

❤ didn't use to + مصدر
( لم يعتاد على )
🌺 I didn't use to need much sleep but now he does.

❤ Did + فاعل + use to + مصدر
( هل اعتاد على )
🌺 Did your father use to smoke during his boyhood.

❤ Used to be + p.p
( في المبني للمجهول)
🌺 My homework used to be done in a neat way

🧠 لاحظ استخدام ( used to) و ( didn't use to ) بالتبادل مع المضارع البسيط المثبت والمضارع البسيط المنفي ..
🌺 I used to smoke five years ago, but now I don't.

🌺 Ali used to be fat but now she isn't.


🧠 لاحظ ( مصدر + would ) للتعبير عن عادة في ماضي.
🌺 When I was young, I used to play ( would play) in the street.

🧠 يفضل استخدام الماضي البسيط بدلاً من ( used to ) عندما يتم ذكر وقت محدد أو عند الحديث عن حدث مؤقت وانتهي.

🌺 He visited his father last year.

🧠 لا تستخدم ( مصدر + would ) مع الأفعال الماضية الدالة على ( stative verbs)

🌺 There used to be a lot of tourists.

Not: There would be a lot of tourists. ❌

🛑 تستخدم الصيغة التالية لتعبير عن عادة في ماضي .

❤ S + was / were + used to + v.ing
( أعتاد على شىء فى ماضي ولم يعد يفعله الان)
🌺 When I was young, I was used to eating a lot of ice cream.

❤ S + wasn't / weren't + used to + v.ing .
( لم يعتاد على شىء فى ماضي)
🌺 I wasn't used to doing any kind of sport during my boyhood.

🛑 العادات في الحاظر .

❤ S + am / is / are ( get / gets )+ used to + v.ing / nuon.
( يعتاد على شئ في الوقت الحاظر )

🌺 Akram is ( gets ) used to watching cartoon.

🌺 Ali is used to junk food . He loves it most.

( junk food ) = nuon

❤ S + am not / isn't / aren't ( doesn't get / don't get ) + used to + v.ing / nuon.
( لم يعتاد على شئ في الوقت الحاضر)

🌺 He isn't ( doesn't get ) used to doing a lot of exercise.

🌺 I am not used to such hard work.
( such hard work ) = nuon

🛑 Object + (be used to ) + مصدر = passive
اذا جاء قبل be used to مفعول فياتي بعدها مصدر، وفي هذه الحالة يأتي المعني ( يستخدم ) وليس يعتاد

The knife is used to cut onions.


🛑 Object + be + used for + v.ing
تستخدم لإشارة في استخدام الاشياء في بشكل عام
Knives are used for cutting things.


🛑 No longer / any longer
تستخدم no longer وبعدها في مضارع أو any longer ويأتي معها مضارع منفي بدلآ من used to

🌺 Ali no longer smokes. = Ali used to smoke.

🌺 Ali doesn't smoke any longer.

🛑 Form:

Subject + were / was + v.ing.

🌺 I was studying English all night yesterday.

Were / was + subject + v.ing

🌺 was Ali playing when he fell down?

S+ wasn't / weren't + v.ing .
I wasn't reading when the night went out.

🛑 The passive voice.

Were / was + being + p.p
Were / was + not + being + p.p
Were / was + subject + being + p.p

🌺 Somebody phoned me while the dinner was being cooked.

🌺 I borrowed Ali's car while mine was being repaired at the garage.

🛑 Tense Markers
Yesterday ( evening / morning / afternoon ) / at 7 yesterday / at 10:30 last night / at 9 this morning / from five to seven yesterday / from morning to evening yesterday / at this time yesterday / last year at this time/ throughout last night / all last ( week / month ) / all morning ( afternoon / evening ) yesterday.

🛑 Usage
الحالات التي يستخدم فيها الماضي المستمر .
❤ للتعبير عن حدث كان مستمر لوقت معين في ماضي بمعني كان مستمر لوقت محدد في ماضي
🌺 I was doing my homework at 6 o'clock yesterday.

❤ لتعبير عن حدث أستمر لفترة في الماضي ( مع كلمة all بمعني طوال) بمعني أستمر في ماضي ( غير معروف بدايته ونهايته مع all)
🌺 I was reading a book all day yesterday.

🛑 يستخدم القانون التالي للتعبير عن حدثين كانا مستمرين في نفس الوقت في ماضي.

❤ While / as / just as / when + past continuous , past continuous .

❤ Past continuous + while / as / just as / when + past continuous.

🌺 While he was reading the novel, l was watching TV.

🌺 She was cooking lunch while her husband was reading the paper.

🛑 لاحظ استخدام to be في ماضي المستمر

🌺 While I was at school, l worked to plan.

لا يمكن أن تقول
While I was being ......❌

يمكن أن تستخدم because لربط زمن الماضي المستمر وزمن الماضي البسيط
Past simple + because + past continuous.
يكون الحدث الطويل past continuous بعد because وزن الآخر past simple
🌺 I couldn't hear the phone because I was having a shower.

🛑 يستخدم هذه القانون للتعبير عن حدث كان مستمرآ في ماضي وقطع حدوثه حدث اخر في زمان الماضي البسيط .

🌚 في هذا الحالة يكون الحظث الطويل في الماضي المستمر والحدث القصير في زمن الماضي البسيط

❤ While / as / just as + past continuous, past simple.

Past simple + while / as / just as + past continuous

❤ When + past simple , past continuous

Past continuous + when + past simple.

🌺 As I walking down the street, l met some old friends.

🌺 We were going back home when a beggar stopped us.

🛑 الفرق بين while و During

❤ While + subject + was / were + v.ing , past continuous.

🌺 While I was doing my homework, my mother was cooking dinner.
❤ اذا لم يأتي فاعل نستخدم.

While + v.ing ......, Past simple

🌺 While walking in the street, I met my teacher.

❤ During + noun, past simple. = While + past cont

🌺 During my sleep, l heard a loud music.

🌺 I was injured during the football match.

🛑 لاحظ أن ( on ) تحل محل ( when ) عند حذف الفاعل .
❤ When + ماضي بسيط + فاعل = On + v.ing / now.

👂 when + past simple, past simple.

👂 On + v.ing / noun , past simple

💔 When he got up, he found that Rasha had gone away.

💔 On getting up, he found that Rasha had gone away.
