سازمان ETS، طراح آزمون تافل، از به‌روزرسانی‌های اساسی در این آزمون از ۲۱ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶ خبر داده است. این تغییرات شامل موارد زیر خواهد بود:

📚 بخش‌های درک مطلب (Reading) و شنیداری (Listening) به صورت تطبیقی (Adaptive) برگزار می‌شوند و سطح سوالات بر اساس عملکرد داوطلب در همان لحظه تنظیم می‌شود.

🌍 سوالات با محتوای واقعی‌تر و بدون تعصب فرهنگی طراحی شده‌اند و ترکیبی از متون دانشگاهی و محتوای روزمره (مانند مقالات وبسایت‌ها) را شامل می‌شوند.

🎯 علاوه بر نمره‌دهی فعلی (۰ تا ۱۲۰)، یک مقیاس نمره‌دهی ساده‌تر بر اساس چارچوب CEFR (از ۱ تا ۶) نیز ارائه خواهد شد تا درک نتایج آسان‌تر باشد.
