There is the possibility for a fee waiver for new students applying from the seven countries most directly affected by the travel restrictions (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen), and an extension of the application deadline if required, providing program space allows. This is a decision for the department/unit you are interested in applying to.

The first step in the process would be for you to contact the program administrator directly to inquire as to whether there is space available in the program.

If the department/unit determines that space is available, and agrees to the application fee waiver (and extended application date if required), they will advise School of Graduate Studies of their decision at which point provision will be made for you to apply without having to pay the application fee.
