Multiple Postdoctoral Positions at Penn State Intelligent Information Systems Lab

Education: Ph.D. in #Computer_Science, #Electrical_Engineering, #Statistics, #Mathematics, #Physics, #Industrial_Engineering, or a related subject.

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking multiple outstanding postdoctoral candidates to join the Intelligent Information Systems Laboratory (http://iis.ist.psu.edu/) at the College of Information Sciences and Technology. The positions are available immediately. The projects involve research on #artificial_intelligence, big data analytics, and #machine_learning with applications in #health_informatics, sustainability, #social_informatics, etc.

Required skills for all positions include: A strong record of technical excellence and achievement as demonstrated through publications, software development and release, presentations at national and international meetings, and independent research in relevant disciplines. Experience in software development to empirically validate research hypotheses. Demonstrated strong written communication skills. Must be self-directed and have successful experience working in an interdisciplinary, team-oriented technical atmosphere, able and willing to contribute towards proposal writing and assisting in mentoring graduate and undergraduate research.

More information about the particular project goals can be provided to interested candidates. صرف نظر از این که کلا شاید بشه گفت پوزیشن تحصیلی برای رشته‌های مهندسی و مخصوصا این دو رشته بیشتر هست، این پوزیشن‌ها رو عموما یا بچه‌ها برامون می‌فرستن (که اکثرا فنی هستن) یا خودمون توی لینکداین یا توئیتر یا جاهای دیگه می‌بینیم. قاعدتا چون عموم کانکشن‌های خودمون هم ازین رشته‌ها هستن، باز تمرکز بیشتر روی همین‌ها خواهد بود.

برای این که پوزیشن‌هایی که پست می‌کنیم متنوع‌تر و به دوستان هم‌رشته‌ای‌تون هم کمک بشه، خودتون باید لطف کنین و اگه موردی تو شبکه‌هایی مثل لینکداین یا توئیتر یا وب‌سایت اساتید دیدید، برامون بفرستین. مثل پوزیشن‌هایی که مربوط به رشته‌ی شماست ولی متفاوت با فیلد تخصصی‌تونه و خودتون براشون اپلای نمی‌کنین.🌹
