این انجمن در حال حاضر نشریه‌ای به صاحب امتیازی خود ندارد و نشریه The Tempest که سابق تحت عنوان انجمن علمی زبان انگلیسی فعالیت می‌کرد، نشریه‌ای شخصی با صاحب امتیاز شخص حقیقی است و ارتباطی با نهادی در دانشکده و انجمن علمی ندارد.

دریافت مجوز نشریه برای شروع فعالیت مجدد در دستور کار شورای مرکزی جدید و در دست پیگیری است.
به محض دریافت مجوز، اطلاعیه‌های آن متعاقبا در شبکه‌های اجتماعی ما اعلام خواهد شد و شما علاقه‌مندان می‌توانید جهت هرگونه همکاری با ما در ارتباط باشید.

Welcome to the world of English Literature!📔

This major is designed to introduce you to the rich and diverse world of English language and literature .📖

Over the next 4 years, you will explore a range of texts from different periods, genres, and cultures, including poetry, drama, fiction, and non-fiction.🥰🌞

You will also touch on some other non-literature related subjects such as linguistics, translation, and the methods of teaching ESL.

However, during the first two semesters, your courses mainly focus on helping you build a strong foundation in reading, writing, grammer and speaking. (So don’t be discouraged if you don’t get to immediately read from your favorite writers!)

We are also very excited to have you join us in our supportive, inclusive, and encouraging community of UTELSSA!✨

📗 The term 'Inklings' originates from a literary discussion group that emerged in the early 1930s in the University of Oxford. This renowned group consisted of prominent writers and intellectuals, including J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and several other talented individuals.

📘As the history of our name suggests, we aim to honor the legacy of these literary giants and inspire others to foster creativity, intellectual growth, and a love for English literature.

Attention all writers and poets! The official publication of UTELSSA is currently seeking submissions for our upcoming autumn issue. This issue of the Inklings will explore the theme of Dark Romanticism and the Gothic.

Whether you are inspired by the eerie beauty of Gothic architecture, the haunting allure of supernatural elements, or the intense emotions of Dark Romanticism, we want to read your work!

We invite submissions of original poetry, short stories, translations and essays exploring themes such as love, mortality, nature, and the supernatural through a darkly romantic or gothic lens.
