I saw some nerds online discuss being alone on New Years, or New Years eve, or major holidays in general.

I am someone who spent many major holidays alone. Now I am married and have a baby boy.

While I love my family with all my heart, I do sort of miss the days of being able to have alone time, nerd out, lock in, and enjoy the sweet sound of silence.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

If you were alone these holidays, please know that I envy you. Being alone is cool and badass.
