Additionally, they are advancing from the north along the garden plots towards Lyptsi. In Vovchansk, fierce battles are taking place around the city center. Facing immense Russian pressure, Ukrainian troops are retreating and mining the area to slow the Russian advance. In the Donbass area the russians managed to capture Netailove completle. The Russians have destroyed a large Ukrainian ammunition depot south of Kharkiv and a warehouse for unmanned sea drones in Mykolaiv. During the night, Ukrainians launched further attacks on the airfield targeted yesterday and attempted to strike with at least 13 sea drones over the Black Sea.

This was stated at a briefing by the commander of NATO's Allied Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli.
According to Cavoli, the Russians “do not have the amount of forces necessary for a strategic breakthrough.”
“Furthermore, they do not have the skills and capabilities to operate at the scale required to exploit any breakthrough to strategic advantage. They are capable of achieving local successes, and they have already done some of this,” the general noted.
Cavoli added that he is in contact with Ukrainian colleagues and is confident that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will hold the line at the front.
