Yandex Interview Stages


Topshirayotgan pozitsiyangiz va qaysi usul bilan taklif qilinganiga qarab o'zgarishlar bo'lishi mumkin.

➡️ Intern va Junior levellarga odatda 1-3 ta coding (problem solving) seksiyalari bo'ladi.

➡️ Middle/Middle+ levelga qo'shimcha System Design qo'shiladi.

➡️ Senior/Senior+ levelga Deep Experience Discussion (o'zim nom berdim) - avvalgi ishlarda qilingan projectlar va ulardagi asosiy qilingan ishlarni in detail gaplashiladi, albatta NDA ni buzmagan holda

➡️ Finals: Bulardan o'tib bo'lgandan keyin, Team Matching (finals deb nomlashadi) bo'ladi (menda 5 ta bo'ldi). Har biri 45 daqiqadan. Bunda team va siz bir biringizni tanlashingiz kerak. Shundan so'nggina offer beriladi va negotiationlar boshlanadi.

Interview uchun ortiqcha narsa kerak emas:
- Primerdagi hamma primerlarni ko'rib chiqsangiz va
- Alex Xuni kitobini o'qib
- tryexponentda mocklar qilsangiz more than enough

Lekin chuqurroq o'rganish uchun albatta boshqa materiallarni ham o'qish va praktikada qo'llash kerak bo'ladi. Tepadagi stagelarni qilib chiqishga 1 oy vaqtim ketdi.

🏆 Algo Queen 2025

ICPCdan yangilik - qizlar uchun dasturlash musobaqasi. Musobaqa ikki kategoriyada, maktab o'quvchilari (8-12 sinf) hamda universitet talabalari uchun individual tartibda o'tkaziladi.

G'oliblar Ozarbayjonda bo'ladigan ICPC World Finals musobaqasiga tashrif buyurishi mumkin.

Yaqinda O’zbekistonda Competitive Programming bo’yicha top-1 va eng birinchi grossmeyter bo’lgan inson bilan uchrashdim.

Timur Sitdikov — juda ham aqlli, oqko’ngil va oson aloqaga kirishuvchan inson 💚

Ohirgi marta 6 yil avval ko’rishgan edim. Bu safar ortiqcha savollar bilan qiynamaslikka harakat qildim, lekin shunga qaramay masala ishladik, ahir bizni CP birlashtiradi 👀 Eng qiziq joyi, shuncha yil davomida haligacha uning jamoasidan boshqa jamoa ICPC finalga chiqa olmadi

Ikki hafta avval interviewlarga tayyorlanishni qayta boshladim. Keyingi 3 oy tayyorgarlik davri bo’ladi. Offer olsam albatta aytaman, lekin qanday tayyorlandim degan post qilmayman (tan olaylik, unaqa postlar juda ko’p).

Lekin men bilan tayyorlanishingiz mumkin. Avval coding challengelar uchun ishlatgan ushbu guruhimizda (removed the link) barcha qadamlarimni ulashib boraman. Anchagina ko’p narsalar yozishim mumkin, shuning uchun agar rostan birga shug’ullanmasangiz, yaxshisi guruhni mutega tiqing yoki qo’shilmang. Guruhga access keyin ham bo’ladi (deb umid qilaman), kerak vaqt qo’shilaverasiz.

Bu kanal offer olmagunimcha passivligicha qoladi, shuning uchun buni ham nima qilish o’zingizga havola 🙂

Going all-in

May 2025. Yandex. The biggest tech name in Uzbekistan.

I quit.

Why leave? Simple: I'm wired different.

I chase adventure and great colleagues over comfort. Yandex had the name, the work was solid, but something was missing: the energy. the people who push you forward.

"Good enough" has never been enough for me!

Same day: Started prepping for Google.

What "all-in" meant:
- Telegram (only a few people had access)
- No side hustles (also no income)
- Rejected any offer to make a buck
- 6-8 hours daily: problem solving, system design, mock interviews, healthcare
- Day in, day out. No schedule, no weekends

One target: Google. Every other company was practice.

Jane Street caught my eye later (insane comp), but timing didn't work. Made it my next target after Google.

The result?
9 companies: mix of rejections both ways.
1 said yes (Google).
1 still deciding.

Tomorrow: $20k and 6 f*cking months of my life

$20K and 6 months


$20K… Six months… Which one hurt more? You’ll find out soon.

But first, let’s answer this question: could I have spent less? Yes! Cheaper mocks or just lock in and grind. But at what cost?

Money comes back. Time doesn’t!


I paid for low-quality mocks at first, but quickly realized I’d get nowhere with that. Got better ones that exposed my weaknesses. $6K on mocks and mentorship. I bought truth, not comfort!

Meanwhile, life doesn’t pause. $12K on monthly expenses. And when rejections were too much? $2K on two trips to recharge. Because grinding without breaks is how you break! (wow, I like how I phrased it 😁)

I got rejected so many times that I even stopped caring about it. What I cared about was A FEW companies, the rest were just free real interviews.

Call it expensive. Call it reckless. I call it the price of not settling. You can’t imagine how much I like playing bold and risky!!!
Because I believe: No risk, no life!


In the next few posts I’ll share the most valuable things I learned while researching and prepping for all of these companies.

Interviewlar - ko'zingizni ochadi!

Kompaniyadagi ochiq pozitsiyaga topshirdingiz. Screeningdan o'tdingiz. OA yoki phone interview, so'ng yana 3-4 ta technical. Ohirida behavioral yoki culture fit interview. Team-matching, negotiations va offer... Ehhe

100 ga yaqin kompaniyalar to'g'risida o'rganib qilgan 2 xulosam.

Kompaniyalarni 2 turga ajratdim:
1. Oylab davom etadigan suhbatlar. Technical skillarni o'rganish soft skilldan ko'ra osonligiga ishonadi.
2. "Hire quick, fire quick" asosida ishlaydi. Asosan startup yoki small va mid-sized kompaniyalar. Quick buck.


Technical skillar tez eskiradi, tugamas quvlashmachoq o'yiniga o'xshaydi. Odatda buning qiymat chegarasi bor.
Soft skills esa o'rganish qiyin va eskirishi ham qiyin.


Har oy ofisda tekin massaj taklif qiladigan kompaniyalar borligiga ishonasizmi. Albatta, yengilik emas-ku. Offisga kelib tekinga soch oladigan barber ham yengilik emas menga endi.
