BRO I've seen real shit like this on audiophile boards
Get this: a thread of people who set up PCs in their living-room or whatever to listen to music with, and they really believe this stuff:
(I will write green checkmark for things that at least make sense and an emoji for ideas that are nuts)
✅ Use Windows Server because it is minimal compared to Windows
😄 It's not because they want less memory, but because they really care about system latency even though their 192 khz FLAC playback will absolutely never ever drop a sample thanks to Windows' Multimedia Class Scheduler Service which is used by media players to schedule important threads (like for audio playback) to near real-time so that audio tracks will almost certainly never skip a sample unless the cpu is interrupted for a long time.
Anyway, Windows offers the same scheduling preferences (regarding prioritizing certain win32 graphics shits over other processes) as Windows Server, so...
❔Run a noscript to trim down their system even more
🥴 Argue with others on forum that Windows Server Datacenter is better for audio quality than Windows Server Standard based on hearing test, even though the audio device would receive the same data in either case, as well as being brought up to the same state regardless if host OS is WS or WS Datacenter
✅ Set the background to a solid color because it looks better
🥴 Set the background to different solid colors because based on their hearing tests they notice certain sound characteristics when using different colors, and they tested this enough to develop different individual preferences
