This is in the tradition of Mary Magdalene lineage, whom in Gaul after the templars were murdered, went underground to protect the lineage. The surviving templars needed an encrypted way to meet and greet these "Mary's" (the one codename used by them all) along with presenting a ruby red specific gem in the palm of their hand, to identify them as a true Mary.
The stone in the center is an original from a source gifted to me through my mother's maternal line. I have carried a box full for a very long time. Many were lost to men hunters. So, the women wanted to design something precious and beautiful, every Unanimous sistar could keep, blessed by our precious Mother, to pass onto her daughters.
