The knight on e7 is very clumsy and doing nothing. Playing ...f5 would weaken the seventh rank and there are no tricks on d5.
1...g5!? is also interesting with the same idea of improving the knight, but White can play g3 at some point once the knight arrives to g6.
2.Ra7 Ng8 3.Nb5 Nf6
From f6, the knight targets e4 and can jump via h5 and f4.
4.Nxd6 Qxd6 5.e5 Qxd5 6.exf6+ Kxf6
and the game ended in a draw after a few moves.

The black pawn structure on the kingside is very weak. White is pressing with the queen + pawn + bishop. Who else wants to join the party?
1.Rb5!
Svidler takes advantage of the unprotected knight to bring the last piece into play, provoking heavy damage on the kingside.
1...b6 2.hxg6!
We want to get rid of our pawn in order to use the h-file!
2...hxg6 3.Rh5!
Fantastic rook lift along the 5th rank that puts the black king in danger.

White to move
The bishop on c4, apparently active, was crashing against e6. Beliavsky tries to relocate it on the main diagonal, where it puts pressure against b7 and will force Black to leave a rook protecting it since ...b5 would weaken even more the queenside, and especially the c6-square.
1...Rac8 2.Bg2 Bb4
and now there is only a move that leads to advantage. Can you see it?
3.Ne2!
Whenever Black penetrates with ...Rc2, White is ready to kick that rook with Nd4.
