A grooming gang ringleader who raped two schoolgirls in Rochdale has been jailed for 35 years.

Mohammed Zahid, 65, known as Boss Man, gave the girls free underwear from his market stall, expecting regular sex for him and his friends in return.

The father-of-three, who showed a "chilling disregard" for the girls, was one of seven men convicted in June of committing a raft of sexual offences between 2001 and 2006.

Mushtaq Ahmed, 67, Kasir Bashir, 50, Mohammed Shahzad, 44, Naheem Akram, 49, Nisar Hussain, 41 and Roheez Khan, 39, also received lengthy prison sentences at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court.

The court heard how the girls were sexually exploited from the age of 13 in filthy flats, car parks, alleyways and disused warehouses in the Greater Manchester town.

➡️ Influencers are reportedly receiving up to $7,000 per post, coordinated with Israeli partners under campaigns like the “Esther Project.”

➡️ Payments are itemized for “concept development” and “content creation,” with 25–30 U.S. influencers onboarded this summer alone.

➡️ Funding comes directly from Israel’s $150M foreign influence budget, approved last year to counter collapsing U.S. public support.

No data has been released as yet of payments to 'UK based influencers' but based on these figures it would run into the tens of millions.

Four people have been injured in a car and stabbing attack at a synagogue in Manchester. Keir Starmer says the attack happening on Yom Kippur - makes it "all the more horrific"

The prime minister has ended a trip to Denmark early, and says there will be extra police deployed at synagogues across the country.

Keir Starmer: "This morning's attack is absolutely shocking.

I’m on my way back to London to chair an emergency meeting, and additional police assets are being deployed to synagogues across the country.

We will do everything we can to keep our Jewish community safe."
