Reports: "A teenage girl was raped by a stranger after being approached in broad daylight in a village street.
The girl was approached by a man not known to her in Keymer Road, Hassocks, near the junctions with Parklands Road and Grand Avenue, between 6pm and 7.30pm on October 2.
Police were knocking doors and patrolling the village on Sunday, October 5.
A resident said police were asking to see any CCTV footage from Thursday evening and the early hours of Friday morning."
