BBC director general Tim Davie and CEO of News Deborah Turness have resigned over a documentary about Donald Trump.

Mr Davie said: 'There have been some mistakes made and as director general I have to take ultimate responsibility.'

The concerns regard clips spliced together from sections of Mr Trump's speech on January 6, 2021 to make it appear he told supporters he was going to walk to the US Capitol with them to 'fight like hell'.

The documentary 'Trump: A Second Chance?' was broadcast by the BBC the week before last year's US election.

HOUSEHOLDS could get millions in cash by snitching to the taxman on friends and neighbours under a new rewards scheme.

It could see informants of tax fraud rewarded with up to 30% of the taxes recovered if they successfully tip off HMRC.

The scheme would be similar to a practice carried out in the US, where whistleblowers receive a percentage of the tax as a reward.

Asylum seekers are to be given £100 a week to leave taxpayer-funded hotels under plans being considered by ministers.

Home Office officials are proposing the migrants use the money to pay to live with a family or individual they know as part of Sir Keir Starmer’s drive to accelerate the closure of asylum hotels.
It is understood the £100 a week would be provided on top of their taxpayer-funded support for living costs of £49.18 a week for migrants in hotels.

The plan, to be trialled in 2026, could cut the cost of housing asylum seekers to a seventh of the total currently paid to accommodate them in hotels.

This is the real reason Tim Davie was forced to resign.

This is not a defence of Tim Davie or the BBC.

They have been pushing an anti-White/pro-degeneracy agenda for years with no problems.

An anti-israel one however is simply not acceptable.

An extra 189,000 families and individuals in the UK are rough sleeping, sofa surfing and living in tents. They were not included in official statistics.

This could put homelessness at around 500,000.

Yet the regime continues to import hundreds of thousands of new people into the UK every year.

Labour could lumber Middle England with 14 council tax bands, forcing families to pay thousands of pounds more a year, Sir James Cleverly warned last night.

The Conservative housing spokesman accused Labour of a 'Left-wing plot for higher council tax' that could leave households in the top band forking out almost nine times more than those in the lowest.

A potential council tax revaluation could mirror 'progressive' proposals in Wales and Scotland, with the Tories warning: 'Middle-class areas would be particularly hit.'

Doctors from Scotland and the US have completed what is thought to be a world-first stroke procedure using a robot.

Prof Iris Grunwald, of the University of Dundee, performed the remote thrombectomy - the removal of blood clots after a stroke - on a human cadaver that had been donated to medical science.

The professor was at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, while the body she was operating on while using the machine was across the city at the university.

Hours later, Ricardo Hanel - a neurosurgeon in Florida - used the technology to carry out the first transatlantic surgery from his Jacksonville base on a human body in Dundee over 4,000 miles (6,400km) away.
