At UNN we really do punch above our weight in a world where nearly all media is bought and paid for by special interests, foreign NGO's etc. Our team are all good people who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Sainsbury's, Budgens and Sports Direct are among the high-street businesses that have signed up to Facewatch, a cloud-based facial recognition security system that scans faces as they enter a store.

Those images are then compared to a database of known offenders and, if a match is found, an alert is set off to warn the business that a shoplifter has entered the premises.

One of Stephen Lawrence's killers has clashed with Manchester Arena bomb plotter Hashem Abedi in prison, a new report has revealed.

David Norris, 49, threatened the killer, called him a terrorist and swore at him during a heated exchange at Belmarsh Prison in South East London.

Wes Streeting has suggested Keir Starmer must go further to undo Brexit - after refusing to rule out that he may run for leadership.

The Health Secretary, 42, previously indicated that the UK could return to the EU customs union and has now piled even more pressure on the Prime Minister.

Starmer is still facing more pressure from members of his party, with Mr Streeting suggesting the UK should rejoin the customs union.

The Health Secretary told The Observer: 'The reason why leaving the EU hit us so hard as a country is because of the enormous economic benefits that came with being in the single market and the customs union.

'This is a country and a government that wants a closer trading relationship with Europe. The challenge is any economic partnership we have can't lead to a return to freedom of movement.'

He added: 'We've taken a massive economic hit leaving the European Union. I'm really uncomfortable with the level of taxation in this country.'

Civil servants could be banned from taking part in Pride marches following a new legal challenge.

Campaigners argue that the official participation of Whitehall staff at LGBT parades suggests to the public they have 'taken a side' on contentious gender ideology.

The Christian Institute has now lodged papers at the High Court demanding a judicial review of the involvement of civil servants in the events, claiming it breaches laws on impartiality.

A major incident has been declared after a huge sinkhole opened up beneath a canal in Shropshire.

A Russian general has been killed in a car bombing in Moscow, officials have said.

Russia's Investigative Committee said Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov died on Monday morning after an explosive device planted under a car detonated.

Sarvarov, 56, was the head of the armed forces' operational training department, the committee added.

It said one theory being investigated was that the bomb was planted with the involvement of Ukrainian intelligence services.

Holidaymakers were evacuated from a Ryanair plane after it reportedly crashed into a fuel tank at a Scottish airport.
