A paedophile who targeted a vulnerable new mum on Tinder so he could rape her 10-week-old baby has been jailed for life.

Depraved Christopher Phillips, 34, was ‘actively looking for a baby’ when he joined the dating app.

He preyed on the woman after seeing a photo of her holding the infant, Swansea Crown Court heard.

Prosecutor Caroline Rees KC said Phillips ‘pestered and pestered’ the woman to leave the child alone with him and ‘demanded’ he be allowed to change him unsupervised.

At least 39 people have died in a train collision in southern Spain and dozens more have been injured in the country's worst rail crash in more than a decade, according to Spain's Civil Guard.

Carriages on a Madrid-bound train derailed and crossed over to the opposite tracks, colliding with an oncoming train in Adamuz, near the city of Córdoba.

Spanish Transport Minister Óscar Puente described the incident as "extremely strange" as officials launched an investigation.

All the railway experts consulted by the government "are extremely baffled by the accident", Puente told reporters in Madrid.

An immigrant was caught secretly filming two young children by their mother on a bus. He initially denied recording the children, but then he showed the mother his photo/video album on his mobile phone and she noticed her child’s jacket in one of his videos.

He then quickly deleted the video and apologised, but the mother of the two children, angry and concerned, shouted for the bus driver to stop the bus so he could be removed.
