Today’s Bible verse! I want to share part of the devotional today, that I really needed to hear after a very trying day at work. “So if you claim to be wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by the way you live. And when questions arise—go to the One who has answers. Even on the most overwhelming of days, trust that God is by your side.” If we’re followers of Jesus, we can prove that & share that by living in a way that reflects His love. And He’ll be there by our side as we live for Him. It’s through those good works, that others will see the Holy Spirit moving through us & and seek the wisdom of God for themselves. Father God, today we thank you for the wisdom you’ve given us to know how to live & love others! Please continue to teach us how to live, so that we might live for You! In Jesus name we pray, Amen! 🙌🏽❤️🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨

Todays Bible verse! Usually when I read the verse each day, I also read the full chapter, and the devotional. Today after having a chat with our HR manager at work, I read today’s verse, & then went to the beginning of chapter 5, which was noscriptd “Freedom in Christ”, and started reading, “1 “For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.” For us, as a couple that works for the same company, this verse was an answer form our Father to help us in the decision we have to make tomorrow. And the devotional further helped me understand how this decision is preparing us for our next phase in life for God’s will! I want to share it today & pray you all are blessed by the message in the verses & message shared! 🙌🏽❤️🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨

Devotional:
Cultivate what matters
Imagine you have two seeds in your hand and you can only plant one. One seed grows easily, but it produces produces ugly, terrible tasting fruit. Cultivating the other seed takes time and consistent attention—but the fruit it produces is beautiful and delicious. Which seed would you choose to plant, water, and grow?
In Galatians 5, the apostle Paul talks about two types of fruit our lives can produce: fruit of the flesh and fruit of the Spirit. “The flesh” refers to our desires that pull us away from God’s Holy Spirit. Those desires produce hate, impatience, bitterness, selfishness, rudeness, chaos, anxiety, and self-indulgence—and God has no association with such things.
But when we commit our lives to Jesus, He gives us His Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit helps us “crucify” the desires of our flesh and put them to death. And when we crucify those desires, we create room for the Holy Spirit to produce fruit in us that leads to positive life change.
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Galatians 5:22-23 NIV
Our flesh wants to get even, but the Spirit calls us to extend kindness. Our flesh wants to entertain sinful thoughts, but the Spirit calls us to walk in self-control. Our flesh wants to dictate our emotional response, but the Spirit calls us to walk in joy and peace.
The Fruit of the Spirit reveals that we are actively seeking God and rejecting disobedience.
So right now, reflect on your life. What fruit is it producing? Are you experiencing love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness—or are there pockets of bitterness, anger, jealousy, and self-indulgence in your life?
What steps do you need to take to “crucify” beliefs and attitudes pulling you away from God? Let the Holy Spirit show you what you need to remove, and then let Him transform your attitudes, actions, and desires.

Today’s Bible verse! This one goes out to all the Father’s on Father’s Day, but mostly to our Heavenly Father above! Just like our Father’s showed us compassion as children, God shows each of us that show we fear him by living & loving as He would, compassion. We have to constantly & consistently remember His benefits given to us. A good message from the devotional today, “If your mind is centered on the blessings and mercies you receive, you will be a happier person. But, if you are centered on the injustices that you have received you will soon become a bitter person.” In order to live out our lives as the Gospel says, we cannot forget the blessings & benefits we’ve received from our Father! Thank you Father for your compassion towards us, your children! 🙌🏽❤️🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨

Today’s Bible verse! This verse means to that we should be praising Jesus in every season of our lives. Through the great days, & the very tough days, he alone is worthy of our constant & consistent praise! Today I’m sharing a prayer for praising God’s goodness: Father God, You are so good. No matter what goes on around us—You are good. You are worthy of praise because You are God. You provide for us, strengthen us, deliver us, and heal us. Even when we don’t see You at work in our lives, that doesn’t change the fact that You are working. There is no one like You. So regardless of what we face each season, we will praise You! In Jesus Christ’s precious name we pray, Amen! 🙌🏽❤️🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨

Today’s Bible verse! I just love this verse & chapter in Proverbs. It teaches us that every decision we make in life is truly done by our hearts, not our minds. And that is why it is so important to guard & protect our hearts. Now how do we do that? The Bible tells us in Proverbs, we have to 𝘓𝘖𝘝𝘌 𝘎𝘖𝘋’𝘚 𝘞𝘖𝘙𝘋; and 𝘑𝘌𝘚𝘜𝘚 𝘐𝘚 𝘎𝘖𝘋’𝘚 𝘞𝘖𝘙𝘋, meaning the Gospel! It reminds me of the song my other half loves, “Less Like Me” — Zach Williams, where he describes being more like Jesus(mercy, grace, kindness, goodness, love, faith, patience, & peace). To me loving Jesus and trusting in God’s word is how we can guard & protect our hearts to ensure we’re making choices in life according to His will for our lives! I pray this chapter & song touches your hearts as it did ours! https://youtu.be/fkYL1b7MCEw 🙌🏽❤️🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨
