Today’s Bible verse! Y’all Jesus is teaching us how to pray here in this verse/chapter! He wanted us to understand the true meaning of prayer. Prayer is something much more than a mechanical memorization, or a mindless ritual. Jesus shows us here that prayer is the means to a close, personal relationship with Him! He wanted us to know that He is right here with us, cares for us, & wants to provide for us! I like to think of the Body of Christ, as God’s mosaic, created from His children; each of us has a role & responsibilities in His mosaic to bring about His will for our lives. In teaching us how to really truly understand how to pray, Jesus is giving us the action plans for our lives! Father God, You know us—and You know what each of us needs. When we talk to You, give us the courage to speak honestly and listen with humility. Make our prayers less about us, and more about Your heart. Help us to draw near to You like a trusting child.
