Today’s Bible verse! It speaks to me about true prayer with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! He wants us to come to Him in prayer for EVERYTHING, open & honest, holding nothing back! Part of today’s devotional spoke to me, as I sometimes feel I get lost in my own prayers. “When my mind wandered in prayer, I never stopped to consider that God was with me in this, inviting me to bring this to Him. When I fall asleep, I would apologize for not being able to stay awake, but I never talked to God about my fatigue.” This made me think about my mind wandering during prayer, it’s because God knows I need to speak with him about it, and He is helping me to find the way to speak with Him about it! I pray this helps you too, when you’re not feeling “great” about your own personal prayers & relationship with our Father; remember that He is where we are, so if you find yourself thinking of something else mid-prayer with Him, let it become a part of your prayer that He will hear & begin to help you with! 🙌🏽❤️‍🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨

Today’s Bible verse! This verse pretty clearly says to me, everything we do, in every aspect of our lives, should be to Glorify God! No matter what we do for work, or even if we don’t work, we should be bringing Jesus into our corner of the world! There are people everywhere we go, everyday, & there are people that need Jesus in every crowd. It reminds me of this play on condiments t-shirt I saw today that said, “MAYO Light Shine for JESUS, Spread it around! Matthew 5:16” (I’ll share the shirts with this post). That’s how corny I wanna be for Jesus, to let everyone around me see Him shine through me! Heavenly Father, we love you & praise you for all of the blessings in our lives. Please help us to continue to GLORIFY you in every aspect of our lives, in all that we do, let us do it for you! In Jesus Christ’s holy name we pray, Amen! 🙌🏽❤️‍🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨
