Great news from Valiant's visit with Dr. Perry this afternoon:
• Valiant's surgical staples have been removed and everything is looking good. Valiant is on the mend for sure.
• Praise the Lord for answering Valiant's and our prayers — that Valiant's flesh would work in the hands of the surgeon as the clay would work in the hands of the Potter.
Thank you so much for praying for Valiant and Rosana! God bless you all!

Please keep Valiant and Rosana in your prayers. On top of everything they have gone through over the past few weeks, Nicole becoming a hurricane, is heading straight for their place. It is expected to make landfall with projected wind speeds upward of 75 mph. Governor DeSantis has already issued a state of emergency for 34 counties in Florida. Like every weather event we have seen of late, this is NOT normal for this time of the year.
Please pray and intercede on behalf of Valiant and Rosana as they prepare for Nicole:
• Pray that the Lord would protect them (including Kiwi and Abby), and others who are in the path of this huge storm.
• Pray that the Lord would give them peace in the midst of the storm:
Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV)
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
• Most of all, pray that the Lord, who can rebuke the winds, would calm the storm:
Mark 4:39 (NKJV)
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

Valiant and Rosana are still without power. They have had some damage to some outdoor screens and to their greenhouse roof. Otherwise, they are good. Thank you so much for praying for them.

I just spoke with Rosana and she tells me that both she and Valiant are going through a very difficult time with the passing of Kiwi. Kiwi will be laid to rest in a beautiful garden at their homestead tomorrow morning. Kiwi was certainly well loved.

But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
Please continue to pray for both Valiant and Rosana. Thank you so much.
