Don't forget to bring a Name Tag. Have a great shift.
For whomever is planning to poll-watch today, I strongly recommend being on-site at *closing* time to watch the final process on the final night of the Early Voting... especially:

1) Observe the printing of the final "suspense tape" on the *SCANNER* machine. Document the final total # of ballots scanned.

2) Document the final count of "check-ins" from the TENEX electronic poll book machine. Also ask the main clerk what is the total number of "provisionals." Ideally: the scan-count plus the provisional count should equal the check-in count.... but it's possible it won't be perfectly equal (for legit reasons). It should be really close, though.

3) Observe how they secure the scanner machine, and the black bin (full of the paper ballots) below it.

4) Write down the Tag ID's on the seals, for the above [scanner/ballot-box] (so I can check them when they arrive at central count) (Don't bother with the tag ids, seals from all the "Duo" voting machine/printers). If you see various other election documents (provisional ballots, logs, machine-tapes, spoiled ballots, etc...) being gathered up into some kind of bag or box and SEALED, try to Document the seal number on that.

5) Document who physically takes the scanner/ballot-box to transport them to central count... note their departure-time.

6) If possible, follow the transport to Central Count.
Just now arrived at Hays Govt building. I'll watch Early Vote tabulating, I'll try to watch mail-in SigVer/processing, and spend time regular poll-watching at the polling place here, and finally watch Central Count in the evening.

Be Professional.
Voting in person is the most effective way to help ensure the mail in ballots don't tip the scales, but only if enough people vote. Get your spouse, call your friend, take a neighbor, but GET OUT AND VOTE. May 24thTexas Statewide Runoff
