⠀⠀↟↟ Setiap 21 Maret setiap tahunnya saat ini diperingati sebagai Hari Hutan Sedunia, Adapun tema Hari Hutan Sedunia 2022 yaitu Hutan dan Produksi dan Konsumsi Berkelanjutan. Tema tersebut fokus kepada kelestarian kayu-kayu secara berkelanjutan untuk kehidupan bersama.
⠀⠀↟↟ Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara pemilik hutan terluas di dunia, sejak era orde baru telah mengandalkan hutan sebagai penunjang pertumbuhan ekonominya. Karenanya kelestarian hutan menjadi suatu keniscayaan dalam upaya mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

LATAR BELAKANG BANDUNG LAUTAN API.
Terjadinya peristiwa tragedi Bandung Lautan Api dipicu oleh tindakan Sekutu yang berusaha menguasai Kota Bandung. Ketika pihak Sekutu mengeluarkan perintah agar rakyat meletakkan senjata dan mengosongkan wilayah Bandung, rakyat tidak takut.
Mereka justru menyerang pos-pos Sekutu di sekitar wilayah Bandung. Pada Maret 1946, Bandung telah terbagi menjadi dua, di mana tentara Sekutu menguasai kota Bandung bagian utara, sementara bagian selatan dikuasai Tentara Republik Indonesia (TRI). Karena peringatan-peringatan sebelumnya tidak pernah digubris, pada 22 Maret 1946, Panglima Tertinggi AFNEI di Jakarta, Letnan jenderal Montagu Stopford kembali melontarkan ultimatum.
