Just some general info regarding wireguard:
DO NOT USE WIREGUARD IF YOUR SAFETY RELIES ON VPN SERVICES
While wireguard is supported by the kernel, it's software that is currently still under heavy development and there has been no security audit done for it. There is currently no way to avoid logging your IP for VPN providers. Many VPN providers still don't offer it for privacy concerns. Wireguard does also not verify the server identity, so someone could sneak in a compromised server and potentially fully spy your internet activity. See it as an experimental way. If you rely on VPN services, keep using OpenVPN. Stay safe.
