The Venezuelan protests mirror our own in 2006, We rioted against the socialists who rigged the elections in 2006 and boasted about it, however, unlike Venezuela Europe supported the socialist government and sent riot officers from all over the EU along with Isreal when the local police and military didn't engage but it wasn't enough as we overran them too. It resulted in notably Isreali riot officers using lethal force via shotguns.

I do support the protesters in this case because it's more than just some color revolt like in Ukraine. It looks like genuine anger and frustration against the failures of the Maduro regime as riots and fighting breaks out all across the country.
