The DGCIM of the Maduro regime detained Chilean journalist Roberto Cox and his team from Chilevisión for six hours at the border with Colombia, without a court order.

Cox reported that the team never attempted to enter Venezuela and that a navigation error led them to the control of the Francisco de Paula Santander international bridge, between Cúcuta and Ureña. Upon detecting press teams, regime officials transferred them to a DGCIM barracks.
