🇻🇪🇷🇺 Russian oil company leaves Venezuela due to international sanctions
The company Petrolera (Cyprus) Limited (PCL), which operates in Venezuela the assets that previously belonged to Rosneft and were later managed under the name Roszarubezhneft, officially announced its withdrawal from the country due to the impact of international sanctions and financial restrictions imposed on entities linked to the Russian state.
In a communication addressed to its workers, the company's legal representative, Andrey Shavkun, explained that the decision responds to a "structural and unforeseen incapacity" that prevents the company from sustaining its operations in Venezuela.

Venezuelan leader and 2025 Nobel Peace Prize winner, María Corina Machado, affirmed this Wednesday that the government of Nicolás Maduro "declared a war against Venezuelans" and that US President Donald Trump is "putting an end to it", during an interview on the radio program of presenter Sean Hannity.
During the conversation, Machado explained that what is happening in Venezuela is an open confrontation of the State against its citizens:
"They declared a war against the Venezuelan people and they have declared a war against Western democracies. Now President Trump is finally ending this war. It's about saving lives."

The procedure was carried out by military personnel assigned to Zone Command No. 62 (CZGNB-62), stationed at the Citizen Service Point (PAC) "Palo Grande Toll".
During the inspection of a 350-type truck, Chevrolet brand, the uniformed officers detected irregularities in the cargo. After a thorough review, the following was found:
350 liters of gasoline, distributed in five (05) drums.
The fuel was hidden inside an ice pit to evade inspection by the authorities.
The case, along with the physical evidence and the detained vehicle, was placed under the orders of the Public Ministry to initiate the corresponding investigations.
