Barquisimeto. A minute of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone No. 13, ZODI, in Lara state, reported the incursion of two unidentified individuals into the vicinity of the general weapons park of the Vicente Landaeta Gil Air Base, in Barquisimeto, where Private Jhonathan Vargas Castillo was killed.
Neighbors of the Air Base affirmed that the incident happened during the early hours of this Monday, September 27, when they were surprised by officials from the second shift of the military installation, who opened fire on the criminals. Three officials were injured, of which one died when admitted to a nearby health center.
