🚨 Former paramilitary chief assures that at least 200 disappeared persons were buried in Venezuela
Salvatore Mancuso, one of the former paramilitary chiefs of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia, revealed that the border with Venezuela was used by this criminal organization as a "repository" for the bodies of at least 200 disappeared people between 2000 and 2001.
On the Venezuelan side, he confirmed the existence of graves in San Cristóbal, the capital of the Táchira state, and other towns in that entity such as Ureña, San Antonio, La Fría and Boca de Grita used by the Catatumbo Bloc.
"This has broader depths because there was also coordination with the military and public forces on the Venezuelan side for this type of operation," he added.

Migrant crossings at the US border drop 50%
The crossings of undocumented migrants on the United States border with Mexico have fallen 50% after the lifting of Title 42, the expulsion policy in force during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, said this Sunday.
The crossings of undocumented migrants on the United States border with Mexico have fallen 50% after the lifting of Title 42, the expulsion policy in force during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, said this Sunday.
"We have prepared for this transition for months and months, and we have executed our plan consistently," said the head of immigration policy in an interview with ABC.
After the end of the health emergency on Thursday night, the United States stopped applying Title 42, which allowed undocumented migrants to be expelled without the possibility of requesting asylum under the pretext of the pandemic, but it established other restrictions at the border and began deporting through another regulation known as Title 8.
At the beginning of the week, the authorities arrested some 11,000 migrants daily, but with the implementation of the new immigration measures the numbers fell to 6,200 arrests on Friday and 4,400 on Saturday.
