The government of Brazil, chaired by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, defended this Monday that the agreements for holding the elections in Venezuela be maintained after the opposition leader María Corina Machado was removed from the electoral dispute.
In a statement, the executive noted that Brazil continues to support the implementation of the Barbados agreements for the holding of presidential elections this year in the country, signed on October 17, 2023.
