10 years of Transmutation Insights (1/3)
It's important to keep in mind that retention is not meant to be a challenge, but rather serve as a pillar to wellbeing.
If it gives you stress, it is most likely not serving your wellbeing and should then be approached differently.
In ancient practices they speak about the transmutation of sexual energy through semen retention.
It’s interesting that this is more or less true from a hormonal perspective:
The “sex-steroids” that are not expelled through reproductive functions get converted into neuro-steroids. Some major biological functions of neuro-steroids include the modulation of neural plasticity, learning, memory processes, responses following stress exposure, anxiety and depression.
Though there are some worries about prostate congestion, it appears fine if you’re not metabolically impaired and don’t edge for hours on end.
(Porn has absolutely no place when it comes to your wellbeing, it will only take away from you.)

When you start to understand sexual energy as just that -energy- things start to make a lot more sense.
Semen retention done the traditional way (spiritually) seems to have nothing but benefits.
Semen retention done the modern way (force of will, moralistic dogma, sex = bad) can be destructive at worst and counterproductive at best.
You'll still get benefits like increased discipline as well as the development of will power and self control, but things are much easier when your entire mind/body/emotions/spirit are on board, and you feel good and inspired.
So to coom or retain?
I don’t know if prolonged retention could negatively influence your hormones & metabolism
In an ideal scenario you would have a loving woman. But since that’s not always possible, we can redirect our energies elsewhere.
In short; when practicing retention you are sacrificing the lower to the higher.
However, there is a balance.
Semen retention is not about suppression.
It’s about transmutation.

Do not retain without transmutation. You will become a hopeless horndog.
Best transmutation approach (for males) is with a female who understands and practices the same. Within a few months you will both be well balanced and deeper connected, but it is a rocky path with ups and downs.
Self transmutation is possible but requires serious discipline and a whole lotta self-love and forgiveness for transgressions.
