We each are the Way, the Truth, the Light.
We each are the Christ — the bearer of the Sacred Wound of Separation, of indifference, of forgetting. And the Christ is the presence of the eternal ‘I’ that heals this wound. We are the Christ Light.
We rejoice at the beauty of our incarnation. We revel in the power of the inner Light.
The great feast that is being prepared will bring with it utter transformation and grace, and the illusion of our separation will soon be permanently dispelled.

As my Buddhist friend says, it's all conditions. He will use this to argue "free will" is rather a farce but the way I picture it, if I were born in your life and experienced every moment that you did, no matter how foreign you may seem to me on the outside, in your shoes I'd act and react the exact same way most likely.
Conditions we can never escape but a huge thing is the inner child. The part of us that was formed by everything we saw and heard and that happened before we became bound by routines and habits. That is where a lot of the freedom lies if we can learn to tap into that, heal and release and reparent that smaller part of us that is the reason why we behave automatically the way we do now. It's far less just "us" than it is that "us" is a product of all our previous experiences, usually the most significant ones being the ones that shaped us when we were young and formed who we "are" now
