Let’s be real: Hyperliquid is a threat to CEXs. Fast, clean UX, deep liquidity, no KYC, perps on anything. A true decentralized competitor. And it eats into the billion-dollar fee empire of Binance, OKX & friends.
So what happens when a DeFi protocol gets too strong? They try to kill it. Pump a token it's short on. List it. Make it moon. Force a liquidation. Bankrupt the vault.
But Hyperliquid didn’t die. Took the L. Lost millions. But saved the protocol.
This wasn’t just a random shitcoin pump. It was a test. Can CEXs still manipulate markets to crush decentralized competition?
Crypto is supposed to be about decentralization, freedom, and trustless systems. Not letting the same old centralized players rig the game against DeFi.
If we cheer for this kind of manipulation, we’re cheering against everything crypto stands for. This time it was Hyperliquid. Next time? Your favorite protocol.
Hyperliquid survives. But the message is clear: decentralized finance scares centralized power. And they'll fight dirty to keep control. We either support DeFi, or we lose the plot entirely. Choose a side.
