🚨Sentencing is on October 28, but we only have until October 13 to collect signatures!🚨

Mitigation letters are submitted by the defense attorney to the judge, asking for leniency in sentencing. By signing the mitigation letter, we can show the judge that Tarek’s community stands in unwavering support of him and demands his immediate liberation.

Tarek Bazrouk is a 20-year-old Palestinian student from New York City who has been targeted by the United States government for his activism. He is currently being held without bail at Brooklyn’s notoriously inhumane Metropolitan Detention Center, since his arrest in May of 2025. Tarek has been targeted in the broader repression tactic by the United States government to silence the movement for Palestinian liberation, and protect its genocidal interests.
