After a few years, how do I feel about programming for Android and interacting with its community?
Honestly, I've always been happy with the reception I've received for the projects I've maintained and created over the years. I really enjoy the Android community.
Despite some reservations, I've always been welcomed by other developers and advanced users. This has helped me not give up on developing, even though it's a very difficult path full of twists and turns.
Yes, there are days when I think, "Why am I wasting my time on this? F#ck this shi*" But fortunately, that's not the case. Today I see that people do care: stability matters, design matters, and I must continually improve on this. Every message, every report, every download is a vote of confidence in my ability, and that makes me particularly happy and satisfied.
Of course, not everything that comes my way is good. I needed to understand that a minority doesn't represent the whole, and over time, I developed a filter to stay focused and meet the demands of the majority, at my own pace, without pressure or sadness.
I will always be grateful to everyone for trusting my work, because, in the end, that's how I see it all.
Thank you, community.

After a few years I'm finally doing well in my employment contracts.
I've always oscillated between interface design, branding, and programming. If you follow my Instagram you must also know that I do drawings too.
As I dedicated more of my time to Android programming, I decided to focus on entering the field since the end of the pandemic, and it worked out really well.
At first, I had some adaptation problems. I started at Itaú as a QA and was soon promoted to the data and cloud analyst team, which is not what I like to do.
Then I got an excellent contract at Qintess where I would work specifically as an Android software engineer. And damn, I felt so good during those 3 months of contract, the team was great and I finally knew how to use most of the technologies and tools, I FELT LIKE A MACHINE. But the temporary contract ended and I chose not to renew.
I am currently in the mobile division of luizalabs (Magalu) earning double my previous salary with an incredible team, for now I feel fulfilled in my career, and I will continue to evolve and find more insane and important opportunities.

The downside is that it distances me a bit from my personal projects. But I always find some time for maintenance. I think this is part of growing up; some things stop being a priority and are exchanged for others.
