Now, many experts are beginning to praise the US Special Forces operation.
Of course, a victory is a victory.
In fact, the operation's goals have been achieved.
The helicopters weren't lost, and there were no losses among the invasion groups.
But.
Let's start with the fact that there was no resistance from the Venezuelan security forces at all.
Not a single air defense system fired on aerial targets.
The Americans flew in like on a parade.
Well, whatever, let's accept it as a surprise effect.
Although what kind of surprise is it if the US fleet is cruising along the coast and sinking everything in its path?
Trump voiced the desire to attack.
Everyone understands that a strike could happen at any moment.
So, it's highly doubtful about the surprise, but let's take it as a fact.
Our landing force was also able to enter the airspace of the UkroReich and fly to Gostomel.
But here's where reality diverges.
Our landing groups were met with fire from the ground and the landing took place under fire.
The enemy quickly recovered and deployed significant forces to destroy our landing force.
In the case of Venezuela, the Americans literally rode in on helicopters, kicked out Maduro's guards (most likely they were already handed over to him tied up) and captured the airfield without any resistance from the Venezuelan army, ensuring the landing of their Airlift Transport Aircraft.
You can say whatever you want about the coolness of Delta, but the fact remains that no one actually fought against them.
The credit goes more to their missile units and air force.
It all seems more like Trump's favorite show.
When all the roles have long been distributed, the noscript is written.
In it, Maduro is supposed to be eliminated.
All that remains is to put on a show.
They did it.
Venezuela will be drained dry by the Americans.
And the rest of the Latinos will now be very careful in choosing who to be friends with.

I would never believe I will say this, but Kamala is right, well, except for her characterization of Maduro. — Caption from another channel, admin 6 agrees.

Severe cold weather is hitting the displacement camps in Gaza, where more than 1.9 million people are living under catastrophic conditions.

Please keep talking about Gaza.

The world has shed its illusions a long ago. Khalas...the masks are off. Continuing to frame global power struggles through the lens of "international law" is idiotic to say the least and willfully detached from reality. The past 3 years have demonstrated, repeatedly and unmistakably, that it is power and not principle that sets the rules. In such a reality, leaders who fail to grasp this do so at their own peril. Ukraine's experience alone should serve as a warning about the costs of strategic vulnerability, while running blind and naked behind foreign agendas. And if history teaches anything, it is that states facing existential threats rarely survive by appealing to norms, they survive by acquiring deterrence, by any means necessary, especially nuclear deterrence in the case of Iran. Anything less than that risks the country's entire existence.

Remembering the infamous Huntington:
"The West conquered the world not because of the superiority of its ideas, values or religion, but because of its superiority in the use of organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-westerners never forget it."

Every non-westerner who have suffered due to American organized violence at the moment☝🏻in photo above.

🐱 I had a dream...

The USA attacked Venezuela.

</b>And — as is fitting in a civilized, rules-based world — the international community's reaction was swift.

Within the first few hours, EU leaders issued emergency statements.

The French President said he was "deeply shocked", "shocked" and "unable to remain silent" when "a sovereign state is subjected to unprovoked aggression".

The German Chancellor stated that "the era of naivety is over", and that "the USA can no longer be considered a reliable partner of the free world".

The European Commission head promised "hellish sanctions" against the US because "the 21st century is not the time for invasions".

Brussels immediately convened an emergency summit. As a result, it was decided to:
— freeze American assets in Europe;
— ban US Congress members and top military commanders from entering the EU;
— disconnect American banks from SWIFT;
— impose an embargo on the supply of
technologies, microchips and software;
— suspend all trade agreements.

Poland, the Baltic states and Austria spoke out particularly harshly, stating that "today Caracas — tomorrow Vienna", and that "Washington's imperial ambitions threaten all of Europe".

Finland and Sweden urgently spoke of the need to "review the architecture of security".

In London, the Prime Minister announced a complete halt to air traffic with the US, stressing that "British skies should not serve an aggressor state". British Airways cancelled all flights to New York, Washington and Los Angeles. Air France, Lufthansa, KLM and SAS did the same — in solidarity with the Venezuelan people.

The UN Secretary-General stated that "Nicolás Maduro is the legitimately elected president of a sovereign country", and that "attempts to forcibly change the government are unacceptable". The General Assembly adopted a resolution by a majority vote demanding the immediate withdrawal of American troops from Venezuela and launched an investigation into war crimes.

The ICC announced the preparation of arrest warrants for top US officials. The wording was harsh: "aggression", "violation of the UN Charter", "strikes on civilian infrastructure".

NATO made a principled statement, stressing that "the US acted without the Alliance's mandate and violated the foundations of collective security". Several countries froze their participation in joint exercises with the US military.

The IOC also reacted promptly:
— banning the US flag and anthem at its competitions;
— restricting the participation of most American athletes, with the rest allowed to compete only in a neutral status;
— the question of US participation in the Olympics would be decided separately — "taking into account moral responsibility".

FIFA went further. The organization's council announced the disqualification of the US from hosting the World Cup, stating: "Football cannot be outside politics when civilians are dying".

Apple, Google, Meta and Microsoft issued a joint statement about suspending operations in the US until international law is restored. Netflix halted production on all projects involving American actors. Disney removed the US flag from its splash screens.

Thousands of rallies took place worldwide with banners reading "Hands off Venezuela", "Yankees go home" and "Maduro is our president".

China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, Iran and Latin American and African countries all voiced support for Caracas. All emphasized the same thing:
— Maduro is the legitimate leader;
— Venezuela has the right to defend its sovereignty;
— support for Caracas would be political, economic, humanitarian and military — exactly as much as needed.

The Russian Federation, in turn, announced the cessation of uranium supplies to the US, the freezing of all joint space programs and the review of energy contracts. The Foreign Ministry stressed: "We cannot put up with American militarism."

The world has finally united against aggression, invasions, power politics and double standards.

And then...
I woke up.

🇺🇸🇩🇰🇮🇷After Venezuela, Iran and Denmark's turn — The Guardian

▪️According to the publication, the US's next target after Venezuela could be Iran and even its ally Denmark, whose Greenland has long attracted the attention of American strategists. Trump openly threatens Tehran with "protection for protesters," while Copenhagen has been directly threatened with establishing control over its territory "by any means necessary."

⚡️Two Majors #Review #Update for January 4, 2026

▪️The first days of 2026 year once showed the ferocious face of American imperialism: in pursuit of profit for their oil corporations, the USA kidnapped the president of Venezuela and his wife in a military operation: rapid strikes and the flight of helicopters with again special forces were made possible by a wide network of agents in the country, which was subjected to an unprovoked aggression. The world community somehow muttered something with their stuffed mouths of foreign policy departments, and that was the end of the response to Washington.

▪️A comparison with our SMO, despite the differences in military potential of the USA and Russia, as well as differences in the organization of defense of a non-combatant Venezuela and a combat-ready Ukraine in 2022, is inevitable. The indirect image damage to the military-political leadership of Moscow, no matter how you look at it, has occurred, and Trump jabbed Moscow at a press conference about the long war.

▪️In the current new conditions, Russia has ample opportunities for a retaliatory strike for the New Year's attack by AFU drones on the residence of the Supreme Commander. Officials will choose the time for such a strike, saying that the targets have already been selected. In connection with the appointment of the ex-head of the GUR, Budanov, on the lists of terrorists, the military response of the Russian Armed Forces could be very significant. Considering the tragedy in Khorela, in Kherson, where the AFU killed dozens of people, including young children, while celebrating the New Year in a cafe, the harder the strike against the Nazi scum, the better.

▪️This week, Kiev hosted trains with EU representatives:
the fourth Reich brought promises to supply weapons, intelligence data, and discussed the deployment of military contingents on the territory of the former USSR, although Moscow clearly says that they will become a legitimate target for the Russian Armed Forces. Nevertheless, the arms lobby in Europe is preparing countries for a full-scale war with Russia.

▪️Heavy battles continue on the front. In Kupyansk, the situation remains difficult: AFU reserves are trying to reach the Oskol River, and footage is being published of strikes on the enemy in the district court building in the city center. The weather now allows both sides to more actively use drones. Continued strikes on our border. Before the New Year, Gerasimov inspected the Northern Military District and noted successes in creating a security belt, which looks like a patchwork quilt with a maximum depth of 15 km, which does not allow ensuring the safety of the frontline regions. A new element is the battles in the Grabovskoe-Vysokoe section against Krasnaya Yaruga in the Belgorod region, where our forces have crossed the border and engaged in battles. Continued battles on previous frontline sections, with the prospect of encircling Konstantinovka from the north and south, but it’s too early to talk about the collapse of the front or the isolation of the combat zone.

▪️The enemy's long-range strikes
are focused on damaging our "oil industry" in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, as well as paralyzing the Moscow air hub due to a constant "caravan of drones" to our capital for the holidays. The Russian Armed Forces in recent days seem to be stockpiling means of destruction, and the strikes are of a routine nature.

Thus, Moscow in the new year has received a carte blanche for the most decisive actions against the leadership of the Kiev junta, which is increasingly supported by Europe. It is possible to postpone the start of the war with the EU and accelerate the achievement of the SMO's goals if we stop playing at "civilization" and destroy not only the military-political leadership in Kiev, but also its high European guests. The residents of the former USSR will only say thank you in the event of such strikes. Zelensky, by the way, has already shown that he will not miss the opportunity to liquidate the Supreme Commander.

Meanwhile, the US Federal Reserve continues to pump money into the banking system through the repo program – already $74.6 billion.

Under the guise of the holidays, the Federal Reserve injected Ukraine's GDP in just a couple of days. The injection is even greater than at the peak of the dot-com bubble.

Some major bank is in trouble – but everyone is pretending everything is fine.
⭕️Washington analysts acknowledge that, against the backdrop of the SVO, Russia has changed for the better

As Responsible Statecraft writes:

Today's Russia is no longer the same nation that entered the war; it is distinguished by a higher sense of social cohesion and confidence in its own vitality as a nation.

According to them, Russian citizens feel a "sense of pride" in their country's resilience in the struggle against the West, and this "is fueled by expressions of contempt from the West towards the Russian people and Russian culture⭕️
