If bitcoin is rat poison, as Charlie Munger claims, then the banks are the rats -- that's the message from cryptocurrency hedge fund manager Dan Morehead.
A basic difference between owners of BTC and gold: mindset. Many goldbugs fetishize armageddon as a path to riches (as a longtime gold owner, I admit to flashes of this). OTOH, BTC holders typically focus on progress and building things. To the extent they intersect, BTC has probably turned some grumpy goldbugs into forward-thinking optimists.
