The extensive list of more than 2,000 members in 2023 features the crème de la crème of business, tech, finance — all divided into “camps,” much like fraternities.

At the WEF in Davos, on January 20, "president" of the 27 member European Union, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the creation of a delightfully-sounding "28th Regime"

She announced the European Commission is working on the creation of a completely fictitious 28th member state, which could be endowed with its own company law, bankruptcy law and labor law. All European companies could opt for this alternative regime instead of their national legislation, with a federal business law tailor-made for multinational corporations. This is a project without an equivalent in the world.

The assumed objective is that this 28th regime will be more favorable than all existing national rights combined. If she keeps her promises, the mass adoption of this "regime" would effectively render national rights null and void (obsolete by abandonment).
