Over 700 “high-ranking national security officials” have thrown their support behind Democrat candidate Kamala Harris for president, claiming the choice between her and former President Donald Trump is a “choice between democracy and authoritarianism.”

741 former high-ranking national security officials, including 233 general and flag officers, 148 ambassadors, as well as dozens of CIA, NSA, and Pentagon officials, announced their endorsement in a statement Sunday.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald, who’s covered the Deep State’s underhanded activities for years, noted the irony of the intelligence community citing “democracy” as their reason for supporting Harris when that same community actively undermined democracy on numerous occasions, such as advancing the phony “Russian collusion” narrative in 2016 to help Hillary Clinton or covering up the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020 to help Joe Biden.

The Deep State endorsement comes on the heels of former Vice President Dick Cheney endorsing Harris, along with 200 other neocons who were instrumental in advancing the Military-Industrial Complex’s longstanding policy of endless war across the Middle East.
