U.S. CARRIES OUT AIRSTRIKE AGAINST IRANIAN-BACKED MILITIA TARGET IN SYRIA
The United States on Thursday carried out an airstrike in Syria against a structure belonging to what it said were Iran-backed militia, two officials told Reuters.

The strike comes after a series of recent rocket attacks against U.S. targets in Iraq.

The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the strike was approved by President Joe Biden. [ Source ]

Following the events of January 6, the Shelby County Schools superintendent Joris Ray told principals to discuss the Capitol riot as a “teachable moment.” Cordova High School’s Principal Barton Thorne did exactly what the superintendent said.

In a virtual classroom, Thorne talked to students about the threat of Big Tech censorship in the aftermath of the riot. The riot at the US Capitol was used as a justification for Facebook, Twitter and more to censor President Trump and other conservatives. A district report found that more than 70% of the students in the program were white or asian, while nearly 80% of the students in the district are hispanic or black.

Triggering her woke virtue signaling, school committee member Lorna Rivera said "This is just not acceptable! I've never heard these statistics before, and I'm very very disturbed by them."

Students in the program had the opportunity to study subjects in greater depth and were offered more schoolwork than the traditional curriculum requires.
