ISRAELI FORCES CARRY OUT STRIKE ON IRANIAN SHIP IN RED SEA
For the first time, Iranian state media acknowledges an Iranian ship in Red Sea is a Revolutionary Guard base and it is currently under attack.
The Pentagon stated that the United States has no part in the attack.
Israel has reportedly notified the U.S. that it is responsible for the attack. The development came as the US and Iran opened indirect talks aimed at rescuing the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal. Israel strongly opposes the deal’s revival. An anonymous U.S. official said Israel called the strike a retaliation, and that the ship had been hit below the water line. [ Article ]
