(CalPERS) invested over $3 billion…that’s billion with a B…in Chinese companies, including 14 state-controlled enterprises that were blacklisted by former President Trump’s administration in June 2020. That amount is currently some $490 million. 

A number of those companies are funding the so-called “Belt and Road Initiative,” a massive infrastructure undertaking underway by China in order to “expand its geopolitical and military influence" of China.

FOIA REVEALS PROOF NIH & NIAID DIRECTORS LIED - BOTH FUNDED CORONAVIRUS PATHOGEN ENHANCEMENT IN CHINA
900+ pages of materials related to NIH-funded coronavirus research in China were released following a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

The docs include 2 previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by NIAID, as well as project updates relating to Peter Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance’s involvement.

One of the grants outlines an effort led by Daszak to screen thousands of bat samples for novel coronaviruses. The experimental work with "humanized mice" further reveal that the grants supported the construction of novel chimeric MERS-related coronaviruses - combining spike genes from different MERS-related viruses. These docs prove that not only did they create a virus more pathogenic to humanized mice…they *demonstrated* its enhanced pathogenicity.

The grant provided EcoHealth Alliance with $3.1M, including $599k used to identify & alter bat coronaviruses likely to infect humans. [ Article ]
