The "Health" Dept. claimed that Hollywood elite gatherings (without masks) are exempt because they asked permission in advance and have better safety precautions than the general public.

“The Emmys reached out to Public Health in advance to share their safety protocols, which exceeded the baseline requirements for television and film productions,” the health department said.

“Careful planning before large events is essential to assure that all health and safety requirements are adequately addressed. … Public Health will continue review the protocols of future large television production events and prescribe additional safety modifications to mitigate risk of COVID-19 transmission.” [ Article ]

Currently, banks are required to report deposits of $10,000 or more to the IRS.

Inflation has risen so much since the Bank Secrecy Act was passed in 1974 that $55,000 in 2021 buys you what $10,000 bought you back then.

Despite the devaluation of the dollar, the Biden Administration is trying to change the laws so the IRS tracks *ALL* transactions on accounts with $600 or more.

Injectable vaccines could be a thing of the past, with University of California Riverside (UCR) researchers investigating turning edible plants like lettuce into mRNA vaccine factories and make edible vaccines, which could have significant implications in combating COVID-19.

Backed by a $500,000 grant from the National Science Foundation, the project works by showing how DNA with mRNA vaccines can be delivered into plant cells in a way that lets them replicate. If this works, it could mean that plants could produce as much mRNA as a traditional vaccine injection.

“Ideally, a single plant would produce enough mRNA to vaccinate a single person,” UNCR's Department of Botany and Plant Science's Prof. Juan Pablo Giraldo said in a statement.

“We are testing this approach with spinach and lettuce and have long-term goals of people growing it in their own gardens,” added Giraldo, who is leading the research and working in collaboration with researchers from UC San Diego and Carnegie Mellon University. “Farmers could also eventually grow entire fields of it.”
