ABSURD, EGREGIOUS FEES AS HIGH AS $17,000 BEING BILLED FOR PCR TESTS
Just heard an NPR segment talking about insurance costs in which they referred to PCR tests as "the gold standard" (clearly uninformed), and said some insurance companies are charging astronomical fees for a test that should be no more than $20!

Travis Warner, 36, is self-employed and bought his health plan from Molina Healthcare via HealthCare.gov. Travis received PCR diagnostic tests for covid, as well as rapid antigen tests. When the results came back negative, it was a huge relief, Warner says...until the bill came.

$56,384, including $54,000 for the PCR test and the balance for the antigen test and an ER facility fee. Molina's negotiated rate for both tests and the facility fee totaled $16,915.20, which the insurer paid in full.

This is a perfect example of how broken this "health" system is in America. This should be a crime. [ Article ]

ALERT - HUGE CHANGES TO INHERITED PROPERTY TAX
Biden's administration wants to get rid of something called "stepped up basis." How does this affect you?

Under current tax law, when your parents pass and leave you the family home and you sell it, you would only pay taxes on the capital gains between what it is worth today and what it sells for.

If Biden does away with "stepped up basis," when you inherit the property, you will have to pay tax on the difference between what your parents originally paid for the property...and what you end up selling it for.

Example Under the Current Policy:
Inherited House at Current Value - $200,000
Sells for $205,000
Your taxable income = $5000
Taxes Due - 20% of $5000 = $1000
Your inheritance = $204,000

Under the proposed Biden Policy:
Inherited House at original purchase price - $40,000
Sells for $205,000
Taxable income = $165,000
Taxes Due - 20% of $165,000 = $33,000
Your inheritance = $172,000

WHAT'S STEPPED-UP BASIS? IF YOU DON'T KNOW ... YOU SHOULD
Janet Yellen, Secretary of the Treasury, is following the Biden plan by proposing the taxation of unrealized capital gains as income. So, if you own something that has become more valuable over time, (like your car, or house) you'll be taxed on the rise in value. Taxing "unrealized gains" of inherited assets (again, including real estate) could mean millions of Americans would owe taxes...forcing them to pay money they DON'T HAVE.

To be clear, Yellen is one of the "wealthiest Americans"... making multi millions in payoffs from the banks after leaving the Federal Reserve.

Meanwhile, any asset YOU own, the increase in value (due to inflation which we all know is about to explode), will result in AN IMMEDIATE tax burden in which you (or your family) may not be able to pay.

What happens? You'll be forced to sell or foreclose just to pay that tax burden.

This will not only hurt families...it will kill local farmers by stripping them of their land.

Comparing the clientele from pre-mandate to when it kicked in about two weeks ago, “Our business is definitely down 50, I’m going to say 60 percent,” Burke said with a somewhat downhearted tone. “There’s just not people coming into the restaurant, they have the fear of being asked for vaccines.” Burke and his staff have had to refuse a lot of customers for not having the passes.

“They’re being refused and they get a resentment against us, they don’t get a resentment against Bill de Blasio or Biden, or whoever is mandating us to check for this.”

“It comes as a personal rejection,” he said, further stressing that it’s not O’Donoghue’s that wants this. “We don’t want this mandate, we want nothing to do with this.”

He also noted how the subway is full of people but there’s no requirement to show vaccination proof.

Inflation Expectations Hit 10-Year-High, Home/Car Buying-Attitudes At Record Lows; UMich Survey Shows

Positive views of buying conditions have plunged to half their level in the past year: favorable buying conditions for homes fell to just 32% in September, down from last year’s 65%, with the most negative references ever recorded to net home prices in the current quarter.

The proportion of households who expected to be better off financially in a year fell to 30% in September, the lowest level since August 2016, and favorable financial expectations over the next five years fell to 44% in September, the lowest level in seven years.

Finally, things are not looking good for Biden as while Republicans and Independents surveyed saw sentiment improve, Democrats' confidence slumped to its weakest since he was elected.
