The Daily Wire filed a lawsuit against the federal government on Thursday over President Joe Biden’s order mandating that large employers must require their employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit to regular testing.

The Dhillon Law Group, Inc. and Alliance Defending Freedom filed the legal challenge on behalf of The Daily Wire in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. The mandate requires all private employers of 100 or more employees to force unvaccinated employees to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, be subject to weekly testing, or lose their job. Attorneys for The Daily Wire will also file an emergency motion to stay the mandate.

NEW PATENT PROPOSES DIGITAL SURVEILLANCE TO VACCINATE PEOPLE BASED ON SOCIAL CREDIT STYLE SCORES
The patent proposes collecting personal info from sources such as devices, apps, social media, web browsing records, payment records, medical records, employment records, the government, and surveillance cameras.

It also suggests collecting highly specific personal info via these sources such as:

▪︎The length of time people spend at the locations they visit
▪︎The ventilation rate of the places people visit
▪︎Images of people looking at the screen of their mobile phone
▪︎Sounds from the microphones in devices
▪︎Facial recognition data

The patent adds that “in some embodiments” of this mandatory system, “the app and/or smart device is configured to inform on the user’s location at all times and to communicate with adjacent devices to assess the interactions between users, i.e. vicinity & movement, etc.” [ Article ]

State Dept. urges all U.S. citizens to leave Ethiopia "as soon as possible"

The U.S. Embassy in Ethiopia urged Americans to "leave the country as soon as possible" on Friday in response to rebel forces from the northern region of Tigray converging near the capital of Addis Ababa, calling the situation "very fluid."

Why it matters: Ethiopia's government declared a state of emergency on Wednesday over the presence of rebel forces, allowing Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to impose curfews, order citizens into military service and restrict the news media.

The embassy allowed its nonemergency employees and family members to leave the country Thursday because of the conflict.

Attorneys general in 11 states have filed a lawsuit challenging OSHA’s vaccine mandate for workers in company’s with more than 100 employees.

CHINA BUILDS MISSILE TARGETS SHAPED LIKE U.S. AIRCRAFT CARRIER, DESTROYERS IN REMOTE DESERT

It was produced by a fragment from Comet Encke that hit the atmosphere at about 111 000 km/h (68 970 mph).
