🧿 While waiting for the train in Rostov-on-Don the other day, I went out for a cigarette. As you can see, even the train station has a little memorial to the second world war, nazi occupation, and it's victims.

Russia remembers, the west has forgotten it would seem.

🧿 I thought I already filmed all the stations that were significant in design, yet again Moscow is full of surprises. Welcome to Тропарёво (Troparevo) station.

The installations are both historically significant and technologically advanced, all in all, great experience. A must see if you are ever in Moscow.

🧿 Almost all the walls in the memorial complex are lined with micro-portraits of the fallen, made into a mosaic of bigger pictures depicting the themes of the individual halls.

Breathtaking and awesome are words that don't even come close to explaining the feeling that overtakes you when you realize how much was sacrificed to stop the nazi onslaught.
