🧿 It is true (image 1, click to see full image), it was more true when I started with all the drone stuff, one did not just 'get into' fpv, one had to learn many of the sciences that make flight possible with drones, & there were basically no tutorials.

It is officially ten years* since I started flying FPV on a TBS discovery pro [as some of you may recall] , more posts with video about it soon.

🧿 Tenth drone flying anniversary post 2:

1 Near the northern part of the Bayan bay in Kuwait where there used to be a wreckers of sorts, for ships, was looking for unique locations.
2 Same place, with friend, via the groundstation, doing an fpv inception of a drone-selfie [later dronie] with a 'quadcopter' 10 years ago. Yagi antenna drip IYKYK.
3 Tiny segment of the flight over the ship junkyard
4 View of the flight over water - appox 1km aimed for the middle barge - didn't quite get there, with 3.5k USD in the air, I didn't wanna push it.
5 Not far away & unknown to most Kuwaitis, you can find flamingo in Kuwait - so naturally I flew there, however the zoom is in post, this flight scared no birds — unlike other later flights by other "pilots".
6 Case, Taranis for scale, LiPo safety bag, & so on. Serious from the onset.
7 Back to "Green Island" - Takeoff - & landing - with a save.
8 + panorama
9 Construction site flyby down south.
